Insects and worms are far more efficient to grow, for protein, than more customary farm animals are. You can get orders of magnitude more protein by farming worms, on an acre of land, than you can from a cow.

But just remember folks....

SOYLENT GREEN IS MADE OUT OF PEOPLE!

Uhhh...goddamn....I'm not ready for all that yet. I have a better idea for saving the rainforest and cutting global emissions...

I drink green beer on St. Patrick's day. My "green" initiative for the year.

I'm going to a seminar this weekend to see if opening a medical marijuana dispensary is worth my time and effort. That's as green as I get.

Good luck, I'm not familiar with how AZ decided to implement it all. I do know that, in AZ, if you're more than 25 miles from a Dispensary you can grow your own.

As always, beware...the DEA can and does raid legally operating dispensaries.

Thanks. At this point, I know enough to know I don't know shit, except Az wants is to be much more strict in comparison to Cali. Hence the seminar.

It covers local laws, requirements, business plans, contacts for already established growers, needed forms required to even be considered, etc. As I understand it,the guy putting it on has tons of experience in Colorado, and had a hand in in getting passed here.

Plus I'm betting that the $300 fee for the seminar will eliminate many of the "stereotype" people looking to open their own dispensary. I believe there is to be only a small number approved for the entire state (between 30 and 50). If it makes sense, then I go forward. If it doesn't, well at least I am further educated, and it's only $300. I have wasted that kind of money on dumber stuff before.
