The correct title of that article should be "Asians are MORE LIKELY to like iPhones." It's incorrect to say "Asians like iPhones" when only 36% do.

But anyways....

I've found that Asians TEND to veer towards very well-known brand names. Also, in terms of personality, they TEND to think and work collectively in order to acheive consensus, as opposed to always trying to stand out as an "individual" like most Americans do. These 2 factors could explain their tendancy to buy iPhones.

As for Blacks, I don't think 31% Blackberry ownership is significantly higher than 27% for Whites. So again, the title of the article is stupid.
