Everything that increase the distance at which you can be be clearly discerned when you ride at night is welcome. With dual, integrated LED lights at the back, the new Night Rider LED Half Helmet from can become a beacon of enhanced visibility.

Each light is powered by a AAA battery for 14 hours of continuous illumination, with an on/off switch conveniently located on the side of the helmet. Featuring two front vents for maximum airflow, a shortie visor and removable/washable liner, the fiberglass helmet weighs just 2 lbs. 6 oz. for optimal comfort.

It accepts the accessory and RoadTech Helmet headsets with Bluetooth 2.0 technology. Meets DOT requirements and is available in XS – 2XL sizes. The Night Rider LED Half Helmet will be available in April at most Harley-Davidson dealerships..To find a dealer near you, call 1.800.LUV.2RIDE in the U.S. or Canada.

It's nice to see HD angle itself towards safety. Something commonly over looked by the motorcycle giant.

Yeah... I know. But that being said... they are promoting full face helmets more on their ads. As in the rider on the bike is wearing a full face. Not all the time but they are doing it.

understand HD culture is ruff to deal with. The majority don't like change. I remember them fighting fuel injection at first. And that was years after the majority of the sportbikes went FI.

Oh yeah... major protection from dandruff there bud. Get yourself some.
