Absolutely disgusting, if true, and should result in the gelding tools being brought out.

why does it seem like in the last couple years this is becoming a "common" crime. how pathetic do you have to be to gang rape a child?

Local story out of Arlington, Tx, two people killed the pastor of a big Baptist church (at the church), stole his wallet and drove down the street to the mall to use the credit cards to do a lil' shopping.
That's right, they went to a place with a thousand video cameras to use the credit card of the guy they just murdered.
These people aren't stupid as much as they are feral.

That's a good word; feral. Another good word would be arrogant.

Arrogance is a human quality which you must have a certain level of intelligence to obtain.
These "people" barely have language, they are animals among us. Its an easy enough problem to deal with, but certain factors of War Room type discussion prevent us from dealing with the problem in a realistic and effective manner.

Not all of them are animals. As I've stated many times in the past, I'm thoroughly convinced that we've raised a generation of sociopaths; quite intelligent, incapable of empathy, and definitely totally selfish.

I like the Russian model for punishment. Shoot each and every one of them, then charge their families for the bullet(s) and the cleanup. ;) Either that, or send them to Europe for gender reassignment surgery, then put them in low security, general population in Huntsville. :)

These people aren't Texans.
Just in case anyone forgot, violent crime in the Houston area went up something like 500% when the Katrina evacuassholes showed up. The majority haven't left, and they are pretty much all human garbage.
I do hope these clowns are convicted, though. I'll volunteer for the firing squad, but aim low.

Yes, there is a significant percentage of people who are true sociopaths...some put it at around 5%...but that's not what I'm referring to here. I'm talking about ghetto thugs and rats that are barely people. They do not murder and such because they are sociopaths, they do it because they are wild, feral, animals.
Most of the sociopaths end up successful, from a financial standpoint, with a clear grasp of human language and how to operate within society.

That might have been the case, once upon a time, but it isn't anymore. We've got children who grow up barely seeing the sun or other people, except through a LCD display. They don't have any empathy because they aren't exposed to others, enough to develop it. This is true from the most well-off middle class family, down through the poorest schlubs. Life is a video game.

They still wouldn't fit into the definition of a true sociopath though....perhaps a new classification needs to be worked out to describe the mentality you're talking about, because its some pretty serious shit.

there shouldn't be anything racial about this. 18 males took part in a gang rape of a child. doesn't matter if they're white black or otherwise, they should be publicly hung.

they fired this guy from my office today, he was my units lead elect. engineer.
only caveat is that he's going thru a nasty divorce, so i'm up in the air about it. people brought up that maybe wife planted the disc.......
the co prob. fired him under a morals clause, but maybe the co. had his comp. searched and maybe that brought about the firing.
dunno, boils my blood though
http://www.click2houston.com/news/27132696/detail.html
he was engineer weird but never saw pedo weird.
drove an m3 and my buddy sat over the wall from him, and often would hear him tell somebody on the phone, "maybe i'll take you on a ride in the BMW", he also called up my direct lead shortly before being booted asking for the the phone # to T Rowe Price, cuz this is gonna cost him , big
he chatted w/ me this morn, how are things going............yada yada.........

I'd be prone to point to the divorce issue. Some women will go to any lengths, to get what they want out of the marriage. I know of two cases in which the husband was reported for sexually abusing their children, only for it to come out in court that it was a lie in both cases. Both of those guys took YEARS to get off of the sex offender lists, when they shouldn't have been on them in the first place.

Given that the alleged victim was an 11 year old child, and that some people are saying innocent people have been swept up along with the guilty, I expect that was where he was going.
EpyonXero

If that guy is proven innocent I wonder if hed be able to sue the company for wrongful termination? I mean anybody could say they found a CD with kiddie porn on it in your possession and take it to the police and the next day youre out of a job.

That "searching the computer thing" was a "maybe."
As to the firing; "right to work" State? If they don't give a reason, then it's pretty tough to prove.

ding ding ding we have a winner.
Best advice ever given to me by HR - it is in your best interest to simply say "It's not working out" when asked for a reason. That and never say "I'm sorry"...
So, has the number of pedophiles gone up in recent years? Or, is it that they are all being caught now and were always there undercover before?

I would think that results in more CONVICTIONS, rather than in catching more of them.
A lot of the crap, going on now, is online. The anonymity of the internet protects them, but it also provides the means to catch them. In Canada we have an entire division of police who are tasked with tracking pedophiles. Some of the cases that you have solved down there, were actually broken here.
