Yes, there is a significant percentage of people who are true sociopaths...some put it at around 5%...but that's not what I'm referring to here. I'm talking about ghetto thugs and rats that are barely people. They do not murder and such because they are sociopaths, they do it because they are wild, feral, animals.

That might have been the case, once upon a time, but it isn't anymore. We've got children who grow up barely seeing the sun or other people, except through a LCD display. only caveat is that he's going thru a nasty divorce, so i'm up in the air about it. people brought up that maybe wife planted the disc.......

the co prob. fired him under a morals clause, but maybe the co. had his comp. searched and maybe that brought about the firing.

I'd be prone to point to the divorce issue. Some women will go to any lengths, to get what they want out of the marriage. I know of two cases in which the husband was reported for sexually abusing their children, only for it to come out in court that it was a lie in both cases. Both of those guys took YEARS to get off of the sex offender lists, when they shouldn't have been on them in the first place.

I would think that results in more CONVICTIONS, rather than in catching more of them.

A lot of the crap, going on now, is online. The anonymity of the internet protects them, but it also provides the means to catch them. In Canada we have an entire division of police who are tasked with tracking pedophiles. Some of the cases that you have solved down there, were actually broken here.
