Some people are not supposed top eat meat today.

I just fielded a call for the girl at work (who is one of those people).

Her friend just called and asked me if they aren't supposed to eat meat, that doesn't include chicken does it?

This was a 45 year old man, not some 19 year old bimbo.

I told him it was fine, chicken is definitely NOT meat. :lol:

I can see fasting and stuff but this not eatin gmeat makes no sense esp if you can eat fish. The local pizza places love it, makes more business for them.

The red lobsters and cracker barrel around here do too. The red lobsters clean up on fridays in lent.

Nope.

I took a vegetarian GF to Cracker Barrel once. She ordered some kind of veggie-side-order plate thinking it would be just veggies.

Just about everything she ordered had some type of meat in it.

The waitress looked at her like she had three heads when she questioned why there was meat in her veggies! :lol:

I loves me some southern cookin' but how do you work meat into bread!?

Fucking love lent fridays. I mean the fasting part sucks, but I love seafood so its a win. Fish, shrimp, crab, scallops..... nom nom. :drool:

Who needs a religious reason to have seafood? Seafood is it's own religion and I'm in the congregation :dthumb:
