med school is insane, I went to a state school so tuition wasnt bad for the PA program, I think its more than doubled since I graduated :(

A few residents I am friends with say its like making mortgage payments for a house they will never live in LOL

Congrats! It's a wonderful feeling to pay something off. Thank God I never had student loans to worry about... either paid as I went or work paid for it.

I got like 15 months left (about $3) on mine.

However, I finish paying off my ex-condo from my last my move (for my current job) that I took a $35k bath on it's sale. Been paying on it at it's conclusion in Oct for 5years at $450 a month. Sucks for something that I don't even own...

So trust me I feel your pain.

Be lucky you sold that thing. I was thinking of buying a house in Saint Clair Shores (very close to the water) as a vacation house. The listing price was 990 bucksredflip and it looked half way decent.

Oh yeah... many told me to rent it. I told em no way. Especially with it not being close by my new house. So I've been paying everyweek...

I can not wait till I'm done.

Well, I am just glad that I was never able to accrue any school debt. You know, Uncle Sam took care of all tuition and books 100% while I was in and then my work paid me while I was going after and then the GI Bill paid the rest. Then when I got into the training program I just finished it was considered a type of Journeyman training and I got paid by my employer and the GI Bill at the same time. It was awesome, like 26 months of two paychecks. Got some shit paid off then.:rockwoot:

So happy I had the GI Bill and didn't have to go into debt for school. Congrats on getting your loans paid off!

Awesome. Every one of my friends that paid off their debts has gone back to school, I'll wait to see when you do.

I'm going to take classes again this fall and it's being paid for by the tuition assistance program at work. Yeah, no debt for school! I need to take at least three semesters, maybe four, but can only take two classes per semester if I want TAP to pay for all of it. I could possibly get it done in two semesters if I want to pay for part of it myself.

If I go back, I'm actually going to use the money the military gives me for school for school, instead of beer like last time.
