Killer cleaner

OK so I've had a red stain on the RMZ since I took it to Uwharrie National forrest last December. I mean I pressure wash it, purple power it...doesn't matter....it's red.

The previous owner of the DRZ400E I just bought, amazed me with such clean bikes.....and I asked WTH he used. He turned me onto HAWKEYE Brite 1

You can only GET it at NAPA in Hickory, NC though as it's a local to that area chemical company that makes it :td:

Anyway...the P.O. of the DRZ was up there last monday and I asked him to get me some.

I used it yesterday and HO LEE CRAP whatta difference

And I'm talking NO EFFORT.

Spray it on...wait till it foams white (3-5 seconds) pressure wash off.

The WHEEL hubs were a MAJOR change...though the pics don't do it justice

2. Environmentally friendly when washed off in the yard?

I REALLY want some as CycleRanchMX.com is a regular place we ride, PACKED with red clay/sand mix which stains everything including head pipes to a nice burnt UT Longhorn orange.

Unaffected as far as I could tell. Would not even touch the dirt on the plastics. Or steel for that matter. only worked on the aluminum parts. And the plastics did not discolor, or change. Bob has been using it for a while now so I'm sure if it had changed his plastics in ANY way he'd have warned me of that.


2. Environmentally friendly when washed off in the yard?



As far as I could tell. There were no indications of any grass wilting or changing states yesterday. But something that works THIS well is sure to cause the spotted owl to grow a third testicle or something :idk: I'll go check the label tonight.

I was sure to dilute the bike, drive and yard with PLENTY of water when I rinsed it.

First postI looked there. The website is a piece of shit. None of the links even work. It's just a bunch of text on a page. I suppose I could jump through the hoops of emailing and/or calling them, but I don't need it that badly.

I do see "Updating store, ability to purchase will be soon." on there. Maybe someday. :)

I suppose if it's only good on AL, it's not much use to me. My frame is steel.

Yeah the phone call is really the only way (that I know of) right now.

They're a small company. But the stuff is magic.

But you could STILL benefit with your hubs and engine! Honestly the HUBS were why I got it. The rest...well, I COULD have used a scotchbrite pad and cleaned, but those hubs are a BITCH to clean, and I HATE having crappy looking wheels, even though I know I spend a boatload of time cleaning them.

Some people think I'm nuts for cleaning a friggin DIRTBIKE the way I do, but I can't stand having anything in the garage looking all dirty or half-ass. Plus it makes me feel pretty good when I unload my bikes, and I get people walking over to look at them, telling me I have nice bikes, and asking if they're new.

To me....It's either done RIGHT, or whole-assed :lol:
