Even though motorcycling is far from a cheap hobby, why not have another? I'm looking to finally get back into golfing this season for the first time in a few years and desperately need some new clubs. Any suggestions on a brand or particular set of clubs you prefer? I'm leaning towards a taylormade driver from the little bit that I've used them. Irons/wedges I'm torn on. I'm thinking possibly taylormade, ping or nike but really don't have much experience with them. Putter will just be a newer odyssey to replace my old one. Money is a restriction but I know I can find decent deals at a few places so I'm just looking for something to start looking for. Also I'm by no means a great golfer so if its beginner/intermediate friendly I'm all for it.
Cant speak to the quality of clubs or anything like that. My hand-me-down set is probably 20 years old and still works fine. I will admit though that I have a 60 handicap and my favorite part about golf is that when you rent a golf cart you do get to drive drunk.

IMO it boils down to feel. If you have a golf store around that has a range, go there and try out a few demos. If you like TaylorMade then stick with them for your drivers. I've never heard a complaint about TM. But I'd go play around with some other before settling down.

Taylormade are really good and take time to get a set made for you. If you want to, try Callaway, the price has come down on them and theyt get sets to you a bit quicker. My brother likes his Nike's and I like my Clevelands, dad uses Taylormade and uncle uses Callaway....its all what you are comfortable with and the price you can live with.

I've got a TM driver that I like.
I got a new bag for xmas this year.
My custom pings were by far the best feeling irons I tried when I was looking. G10's. I'd suggest you have a look. Thier fitting options are free as well.

I love my Wilson driver. I desperately need a new set of irons. Like really bad. Top of my list are some Cobras. Probably Callaways would be next on my list. Never been a big Nike fan.....

I actually went golfing today. I used my little brothers golf bag a few clubs in there and rode on my bike to the Course. I was getting some pretty funny looks lol.

Lol I've never tried that one. I used to get weird looks for having a baseball bat bungee corded to my bike though haha.

I use cheapy RAM clubs. Got the whole set with 24 balls for under $200. No point in wasting good money on golf crap when my average score is around 180.

My irons are like 20 year old RAMs. They are ok, but they are wayyyy old technology.
