Ok, three things came to mind.

First and foremost... wow... great skills. :jd:
Second... That must be a some nice asphalt he's riding on.
Third... What kind of adhesive is he using on those tires?!?! I didn't see them break traction once.

I did something like that back in 2002.. BattleTrax. Bunch of Buell guys out of Cali came to Austin for ROT Rally and set it up in a parking lot. I wasn't any good, but to my knowledge I still hold the record for most laps ridden during a weekend. :D

Yeh I did somethng like that too, but I was probably slower than you, and I kept getting confused and going after the wrong cones

I'd like to know rubber what he is using too. It certainly isn't OEM stuff.

He used some pretty heavy throttle while at some pretty serious lean angles without a single spin.

Clutch control. Watch the left hand. I'm always amazed at how far a bike can lean over at slow speeds with the engine running at higher RPM.

This. I saw a guy at BattleTrax pull lean angles like that on a little 80's Honda he picked up for like $200 just for that purpose.. no special rubber or anything. Dude certainly had the fastest lap times. And he did wipe out a couple times, and it usually just would sneak up on him. I wish I still had pictures of that stuff.

I understand that but I'm talking about when he is accelerating out of the turns.

Even if he never used his right hand, there are times when the clutch is being pretty rapidly disengaged.

Couple of items I noticed:

No clip-ons, handlebar riser.....bet that made a huge difference in balance.

Saw some serious tire flex too. Maybe running 20psi?

Killer skills though!

I think I want to buy a cheap shitty bike and start doing this... looks like retarded fun and you don't need anything for room... plus if you eat shit, it's all slow... great fun.

You can hurt yourself just falling off a parked motorcycle - I'd probably do that

In the comments the videographer says they're running BT003's.

Or Michelin. :) I haven't tried Pirelli yet, and just bought a good stock worth of Power Races for the season. Don't suppose you can offer a direct comparison?

I switched to the v-profile front at the end of last season. BIG mistake using it for the first time at Shenandoah, thought I was going to fall off the bike in the quick full lean to full lean transitions. But once I was familiar with it, I was hooked. Great traction on the front in turns, which is helpful when you're an oaf like me and tend to put too much weight on the clip-ons.

Unfortunately, I can't.

I switched away from Michelin before they came out the the new Power Ones.

The old Michelins had great grip until they didn't and then they'd just let go. The Dunlops seemed to give much better feedback and a predictable slide when they started to go away rather than dropping you on your head. The Pirellis feel much the same.

The new Michelins are supposed to be worlds better than the new but I'm happy and have no need to look back. The guys I know that ride them seem to love them. :idk:

That's the way the OLD Dunslop 208GP's use to be (circa 2003/2004)

I typed Power Races out of old habit, too. I run Power Ones now and can't see making any changes. It was a great change from the Power Races... pretty wild how much traction I can get from a medium rear that will last 3-5 days on a liter bike.

Spot on for the power races, by the time you realized something was wrong, you were already sliding.

Sprocket..low tire pressure....nice riding tho.
