dumb question about meds

ok so I got put on antibitoics this weekend. my ear and half my face swelled up like a cartoon character. went to urgent care and got a shot of antibiotics in my hip then a script for pills 1000 MG of amox and something else.
anyway he didn't say no beer or wine with them, yeah I know it seems like common sense but just wondering if I should abstain entirely while on them. they're helping a little but I'm surprised the infection is still there quite a bit.

guess I should have asked about alcohol a couple days ago. LOL oh well we'll start over tonight. LOL
