Mostly because rural people have more room for stuff like that........And also because they didn't need to spend $500-600K for a nice home.

don't know 'bout you fancy city folk types, but we don't generally allow our children to drive cars without proper training. I do have a few friends who's 14 yr old boys drive race cars though.
