She passed away sat. Evening w plenty of people who loved her around.
I dropped by sat earlier and comforted her.
98 yrs old
15 children
55 grand children
26 great grand children
She had a great run

yeah, from a third world country , running from the japs in WWII, guiding the family as we almost all immigrated to the US. watching our family grow and succed in the US. our family is the american dream.

Well funerals over, day started out cold and overcast, by the time we moved her body to the crematory it was beautiful outside. So it was a wonderful sendoff for her.

Man, she looks relatively young in the picture you posted. That's great. How was her health for the last 20 or so year of her life if you don't mind me asking?

Funny you say that, she was born in 1913 in malaysia, god knows what they were writing on back then. One of my cousins wrote her eulogy on her ipad2,lol
We had a big get together after the service, prob 100+ people
Then a few of my cousins and I got together, say 15 people, every 1 in that room was degreed, 4 DR's, 1 lawyer, everybody pretty successful in their fields, 6ipads (4 ipad2's) lol
Grandma did a great job of raising a family
When she was running from the japs, she had 8 kids in tow, left the 2 youngest behind, because they wouldn't have survived the trip.there's now a memorial now on that road got all the deaths of civilians and military on that road. The china-burma road.

She was fairly healthy, thanks to modernmedicine, only in the last 6 mos did her health start to fail.
