Sounds good to me.
Will you be working that night? Been wanting to see the bar.

Pretty much, but I get to slap my logo on their bikes because I gave them free stickers. That means I am a sponsor.
dam, you should at least buy him some tires

I am just an associate sponsor, it's not like I got a huge sticker on his bike.
Then pay for a damn oil change

Hell, send one this way. I'll slap it on the kids bike, dead center of the windscreen.

Send me your address, send me a size you would want it, it's rectangular so about a 5x3 ratio like on the header. Also a front color and background color, just like the white and black up top.

If we are sponsoring a racer, shouldnt we get him some publicity going on the forum for him? Like who he is, etc?

Well, Brandon got FIRST in eSuperstock on Sunday. He got the hole shot from the second row on the grid and gapped second place by about 25 seconds.

Didn't see his race, I was in the pits watching some of the US129Photos group getting ready for the B Superbike Ex & Nv, V7 HW race, we were in the process of heading out because I wanted to get back to Knoxville early.

Draik didn't race against any 125s. He did well against the clubmans and formula 2 guys though. So he took home a 1st for the 125 class.
My other racer, Jamie Murray got two thirds in C Superstock Novice and C Superbike Novice, HWT SS Ex & Nv.
Going to this race has got my gears going, I want to research more about the different series. I kinda want to race a small displacement bike. I really love racing my 50 at the gap, but I kinda want to move up. The mini bike series in WERA is kinda weak, I want something more than that. I wish they had a more developed 250 series.

What about USGPRU? They have both a 125 and 250 class.

That's what I was thinking. I don't know much about CCS, if they're in your area...
CMRA is the bomb diggity for 250 racing...

Too expensive. I want to be able to run a cheap Ninja 250 or something similar. Plus isn't USGPRU pretty elite.

CCS (out here anyway) doesn't have much in the way of small displacement participation. The LW classes are primarily SV's, with the occasional TZ 250 thrown in.

I think WERA is the only group with a Ninja 250 class?

I am not sure, I know I could run in like e superstock/formula 2/clubman, but I don't know how competitive a 250 would be in the last two.

Depends on who is running...

yeah, but on some of the bigger tracks like barber or nashville, a 250 even with a skilled rider can get dominated by a decent rider with twice the motor. I know 600 is the class where most of the people are and probably where I should focus on, but I just like small displacement racing better. Wish Ninja 250 series had more of a crowd. May start looking into motard racing as well. I really want a WR250X, so having it for race and play would be cool too.

Don't do 600 - that's meat-grinder material. The 250's are a big deal racing here. Bryan was telling me about how disappointed he was with the lack of crowd at Nashville.

Yeah I am not going to get into 600s, I just don't have the desire to race those. I either want to go for 250s or motard racing.

Sorry we didn’t get to hook up at Nashville. Another time maybe.

The Ninja 250 or CBR 250 is a great bike to race, cheap and fun. WERA and CMRA pull in about a dozen 250’s for the E-Superstock class. The West Coast also has Ninja 250 classes to run in. In addition to the ESS class, you can run Vintage 5 and Clubman classes with WERA. With CMRA you can run Formula 4 and Clubman. Although the 250 is out-gunned in the V5 and Clubman classes you can still pull in a podium.
