I think I've heard just the opposite (not sure which models), that the oil pickup was facing forward in the sump and oil starvation was a problem.

I thought that it was better since a lot of the stunters used them back in the day. Of course I cant confirm that ;)

Watch the beginning closer. The first dirtbike wipeout was the same guy, and the post is supposed to be vindication of the man's skills.

Don't know about the pickups but the balance point is supposed to be a mile wide on hondas of that era

first thing first: flapper mod, remove the soft rev and add a HRC throttle tube= worth every penny and they are cheap
