...Because on June 21st, 2010, Apple will introduce iOS 4, and then it will.

"cell phone companies have always had this data, but it takes a court order to access it."
In other words, this isn't just Apple
If Big Brother wanted it, they could get it no matter what kind of phone you have.

If you read up on everything Google does to spy on people, you'll realize it's worse than anything Apple does

People are funny. They carry tracking devices with them all the time, and don't even know it.
Did you know there's a black box under your seat that can report your car speed, and "testify against you" in court?
How man people carry toll "speed passes" in their cars? That's an RFID that tracks your every move.
And yes, of course, so does your cell phone. Turning it off doesn't even always kill it. You have to take the battery out (obviously, not an option with anything Apple).
Face it, the only thing missing is the numerical arm tattoo anymore. It's gotten way fucking scary. Now they wanna download your phone data during traffic stops?
HELLO? If only the SCOTUS would protect us, and actually respect the Constitution, there would be nothing to fear...but sadly, it's been stacked with so many conservatives, that we've lost nearly all of our personal Liberties...and kids, don't EVER think for a nanosecond that you'll EVER get them back, short of an all-out revolution; as that NEVER happens.
Once rights are lost, they are LOST FOR GOOD, and this country has already started an accelerated slide down a slippery slope.

I have heard this exact same rant from conservatives.
Guess the one word they'd change...

You're on crack, or pretending you haven't seen any of the court decisions, and who writes them.
Don't pretend.

The beauty of being a centrist is seeing the idiocy on both sides.
The absurdity is pretty much equal and the blame game is identical.

That's so much fucking bullshit, and you know it.
Scalia is a prick, and nearly everything he's ever ever written on has outright hosed the people of this country. Him and Thomas are the worst, and they've done more to erode protections of Liberty under the Constitution than any ever to sit on that court.
Shameful. Shame on you for pretending otherwise.

It's been my experience that the only time conservatives bitch about Big Brother is when it jeapordizes their gun collection.

Wait, so Apple isn't the one creating your big brother state? I'm confused.

Youre prety much on some sort of security camersa where ever you go now. Whenever a crime or an accident occurs the popo look for surveilance video. In the shitty parts of NYC nypd has their own cameras.

When it comes to unwarranted searches, yes. Abso-motherfucking-lutely.
This matter speaks to this.
Or, you can play pretend games, like fucking Shmike.

Good grief, now technology is going to kill our country? All downhill from here, slippery slope, bloody revolution... lather, rinse, repeat. Don't you ever tired of posting the same tired shit all the time?
Serious question: Do you do anything proactive about to address your concerns with the stuff you post?
Don't pretend.
Shouldn't that apply to all your praises for President Clinton, when in fact all the bills passed then were from a Republican controlled Congress? Who controlled Congress when Bush was spend happy?
You can disagree with him all you want, but he's spot on about the idiocy of blind support to anything Democrat or Republican.

Nah, Clinton wasn't above that shit either (see: Carnivore). Not saying he was. I just don't think "that side" is driving it...as much...
Are they both to blame? Sure. What happened to tossing the Patriot[sic] act? No, I see it.
...But the right is a bunch of self-appointed master morals manipulators, and they overreach far harder, and run roughshod over personal liberties far more often.
