The view when you follow him is sick!

How steep is the launch? It looks nearly vertical but he carries forward pretty well.

that was pretty much vertical, that place is local to us its a sand quarry. its great because you can go out weekly and it changes everytime, plus it has a ginormous man made lake that we swim in when we get hot in the summer.

im a crazy bastard but my buddy has some screws loose, and hes a hemophiliac.

Is he the only one to pull off that jump that day?

There was one other guy out there who was hitting it, he was there later on. I'll jump any height or distance but I'm not a fan of kickers. Don't know if you heard him when he was like "my thumb slipped off the throttle.", he almost nosed into the side of the hill, you can hear him bouncing off rec limiter trying to her nose up over the top.

Any less vertical and he would have eaten sand!

Somewhere between 60 and 80 feet? Depending if you land at the beginning of the top table or actually on the downside. I'm landing at about 75ft, so TECHNICALLY it's a triple, but the stock 250 is about to get shifted to 5th when I hit the launch.

I specifically ordered some go-fast parts for the bike including a high comp piston and pipe to clear this jump. I want to move up a class next race because they do not allow D riders to jump up it and I can comfortably get to the top. I just want to clear it out without needing a 450.

This is the best video I could find of attempts at it, *it's not me*

The difference between him and I is I was clearing the camelback/triple BEFORE the quad to keep my speed. I did take the water truck lane just to get a straight run at it too, and I got the same outcome on both tries.

My inlaws have 45acres theyre letting me and a buddy build a track on. we have it laid out with all the trees cut down and just need to get back with the backhoe again and finally with a dozer. we have a spot planned for a 65+ foot tabletop, cant wait to get it finished ill have to post pics up when its done.

I don't want to hear it.

I can think of a bunch of great riding spots within an hour of you.

I'm just bitter.

Every time we want to ride quads I end up driving 2.5 hours north. All the decent spots are in Central Florida.

Some are even legal.

I suppose I should be bitter from the track standpoint then...

That's true.

I'm 50 minutes from PBIR and just over an hour from Homestead.

We'll be at PBIR on Sunday. You're welcome to crash at my place anytime you want to come down for an event.

Still, all the good dirt tracks are up your way. :gofurslf:

My girl actually got video of me hitting the back section now... You can see a GOOD profile of the "quadzilla" I hit. I take back being 80ft... It might be from the launch to the bottom of the downhill part, but what I'm jumping I think is maybe 50/60ft? You tell me...

Shot on a Droid Evo phone so none of that GoPro fisheye that can mislead the size of things
