I have heard of them doing that but never saw it here, except for on campus at SUNY stonybrook. They had a nice hiding place set up where they could see the sign but you couldnt see them untill its too late.

I wouldnt be surprised with all the corruption going on in NYC, yet theyre always crying for money from the state.

Whats worse is that wont stop it but a stronger police presence may in some of the problem areas.

^On the Florida Turnpike between West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale, they used to put "FHP Speed Trap Ahead" on those signs. There never was one, of course, but it slowed traffic down for miles while everyone scanned every possible hiding spot for a squad car.

Some parts of NYC that can be prety fast. NYC doesnt focus on moving violations as much because the money gets spilt up among the state, but god forbid you park in the wrong spot theyre on you like flies on shit. They keep all the money from parking tix.

All that sign did is made me laugh, lol.

Reminds me when they started putting pictures of diseased lungs, hearts and other organs on packs of smokes up here, thinking it would deter people from smoking. It didnt work, as you can imagine. Instead it became a 'let me see whats on your pack' kinda deal.
