I know its probably old news, but I didn't see anything around here. Halo 4 announced at E3. I'm not a giant video gamer, other than racing sims, but I usually like the story mode to the halo series.

I've never been a Halo fan, but I think them rereleasing an updated version of the first Halo on the 360 is printing money. Halo 4 will be big, but I think Halo Anniversary could be just as huge.

MW1 and MW2 had great single player campaigns. Black Ops wasnt so great. They needed to change time periods, WWII was getting old.

I play the campaign once, maybe twice. I play hundreds of hours of multiplayer. I can only assume by the hundreds of thousands of people online, that quite a few people are like me. So, why wouldn't they sink money into multiplayer? That's what the majority want..

The problem with Halo is... its still Halo. I got bored of it after 2. I had some fun just recently going back in co-op with a friend, but that's about it. The controls are slow to respond (this makes the majority of my argument), the graphics are only meh, the multiplayer maps aren't very innovative (the ones I played), the character animations are lacking..

I did have a lot of fun with the sword and hammer in co-op though. I mean A LOT of fun.

I only saw limited gameplay of some recent COD game and I hate it.

I'm really looking forward to BF3 though.

I enjoy playing COD. I also enjoy playing Halo, though not nearly as much. As in, I beat Halo Reach and it's been sitting by my Xbox since. I never touched COD for some time while playing Red Dead Redemption and the zombie pack. And I'll likely pick up L.A. Noire in the near future.

Yet, COD always finds it's way back into the Xbox. And it's been that way for over 2 years. I must be drinking the drink-aid.

Now, off of the personal attacks. :lol: I would agree that Halo Reach is not very good. Bungie tried way to hard and made too many changes that ended up ruining what they had going for them. I may not like shooters very much, but I am experiencd in them enough to make judgments. I'm sorry, but saying CoD is a quality game because of sales numbers is bullshit. People buy CoD based on the fact that it's CoD. In my opinion (I said "opinion", take it as it is) the lag is as bad if not worse than any other game, the knifing system is terrible, the sniper is not fun to use at all, and the game is filled with more little kids that have no iea what they are doing than any other game (which is really had to say). CoD takes no skill. It's whoever sees the other person first and shoots first, just like with bots. Hardcore is just camping bullshit. Good gametypes like One in the Chamber are ruined by camping as well. Everything is just so spammable, such as balistic knifing, noob tubing, and basically and automatic rifle. They try and add good features, like the theater mode, but ultimately it ends up failing because it doesn't even save half the games you play. If they didn't have two companies that make the series come out with a new game every year, it could be a good series. Infinity Ward ruins the series, if CoD would stick to Treyarch it might be a better series. The campaigns are generally good, but everything is too rushed into production.

I have MW, MW2, and Black Ops on PC. Im good in all of them, play Blops and MW2 on private servers, and you can definitely tell who is more skilled at the game (im not talking campers). If you dont like it, thats fine, but dont try and pretend that they are not good games. I prefer Battlefield: Bad Company 2 to all of them, but a shooter doesnt break a billion dollars in a month by being a bad game, period.

About 1% of players buy these games for single player, and in that respect, i'd say yes, they arent very good. But the MP is some of the best out there, weather you like to admit it or not.

Hardcore gives you less health, no health regen, no HUD at all.

Eh. Just over all. I remember playing death matches and all you had was the weapons you could find and whatever health you got. Not it upgrade after upgrade. They're cool but stuff like, "you can hear enemies footsteps" and "heart beat monitor" and shit like that just takes away from just playing and seeing how good you really are. They're cool but for people to brag that they're the shit when they have all these upgrades active doesn't impress me.

When Crysis 2 demo came out I had a lot of fun working to level 10 and not activating anything. It gets frustrating being the "handicap" player but it did make me reach lvl 10 faster.
