Looks like absolute shit. If they were smart, they would have built it into a tank bag or something.

Seriously. Looks like some schlub built that in his garage in about 20 minutes. Weak as fuck, bro.

And, how about being able to see the gauges?

Yeah... that...

So, why would you then bolt on all that other crap?

I wouldn't... but I could see others doing it... Again, my idea would be to have a tank bag sort of mounting system that didn't look like a giant pile of shit.

Ok, that particular mounting job is complete and utter shite. But i was talking about the contraption, its pretty a pretty neat solution to an issue that has been growing for me over the last 2 years.

I was actually looking for an accessory mount bar like the GS1200 has (which is used to hold up some windshields).

Fail. Its obviously way too small for most farkle'ized bikes - especially the new crop of BMW "Motorcycle Users" (i.e. those twidgets that manage to get through their 3/36 warranty and never make it to the first 6K service)... {Shakes head, ashamed at what his beloved brand has become}... :(

Saw this on adv when the guy was making it. Definitely looks like shit.

The GS has an OEM bar like the GSA, it doesn't hold up the windshield. You have to buy it extra. It's quite nice. I love mine.

I want to be able to do this

It looks like it puts the GPS is a very visible position, as well as a cellphone and a radar detector.

You know, you'd have to have a GS for "yours" to look like that. :nee:

If you can get me a GS built in the last 30 years that still runs for near the same price I paid for my well accessorized KLR, then yes I would have a GS. Being that I am currently slightly poor, I will stick with wanting a small metal tube above my dashboard to bolt things to.

GS360 or GS450?

You "adventure riders" want an adventure?

Remove the iPad, GPS, heated grips, in-motion satellite, microwave, espresso machine & automatic tampon changer; grab an old, well worn trail map and ride until you get lost.

No i want a design feature, If I wanted a beemer that badly I would have sold all my bikes and bought one.

I would like a beemer, because I see them as great all around dual sport bikes with a great reputation. I also have a thing for the Tiger, the Tenere, or one of the bigger KTM's. For now I'm happy with the KLR, but would like a 3/4" bar that loops up in between the guages and the windshield that I can mount some toys to.

I am however looking for a well used Goldwing/Venture/Voyager for a really good price.

Looking for a super tourer with a relaxed riding position, and a rear seat with a back rest and arm rests. Since you guys are sooo into getting me on a BMW I'll take a K1600GTL

Prices start at $23,200 - tops out at $25,835.

It has a 29.5" seat height.... you might need platform shoes to fit on it.
