Z bought me a logitech Z515, we recently added a huge patio to our house 455sq ft worth, so now we can enjoy the evenings outdoors, and it faces east so no blaring sun

anyways i wanted music out there, so w/ this device, i can either blutooth it or USB wireless it up to my comp.

hooked to my ipad via blutooth, and pandora, got my music w/ very few commercials

Logitech Z515 Review - Watch CNET's Video Review (http://reviews.cnet.com/portable-speakers/logitech-z515/4505-11313_7-34167289.html)

on sale for $60 at best buy right now

its not crazy high audio, but will suffice, and its very portable and wireless, and rechargable. so no wires really

most reviews i've read have been 4-4.5 stars outta 5 , so decent ratings

Looks pretty good. I like Logitech stuff. I picked up an AudioStation iPod speaker dock on clearance for like $35. I don't think the Bose iPod speaker docks everyone I know bought sound any better, and certainly not better enough to justify the damn near 10 times the price for the Bose dock. Logitech also figured out how to put a radio and a clock (but no alarm function :td:) in there, something Bose couldn't manage.

Always look at their "damaged box" sales. I've read a bunch of people buy it and there will be nothing wrong and some say that there wasn't anything wrong with the box either.

It can take out a chicken at 50 yards.

I was looking for this about a month ago. My husband listens to Pandora on his iPhone all over the house and I wanted to get him a portable, rechargeable speaker for it. Perfect! :dthumb:

My brother in law bought the Bose Wave and I'm impressed with the sound of it. Its expensive but I think its worth it.

believe it or not, but its nice out in the evenings for now. yeah its HOT during the day, but we live out in the "country" so it cools off quickly and its very breezy out here too, so it's easily in the mid 70's to lower 80's in the evenings. our backyard faces east also so no direct sun.
