Going to NY

Hey, im going to NYC (staying in Manhattan) this friday (18th) through the 24th.
I got an awesome deal, $100 round trip ticket, (from Oak to Long Island)
Stayin a a friends house for free.

Ive never been there b4, any restaurants/ or hot spots i should check out?

Where exactly are you staying. Downtown, Midtown, or Uptown? Unless he's uber rich, I'm guessing he's on the upper west side. Check out the new CBGB.
Dangerfields is a cool comedy club. Time square in usually a tourist trap, and dont forget to go down to NBC Rockefeller Plaza so you can get on TV on the Today Show. :panic:

Check out Wall St. Statue of liberty, Empire state building. Oh and there is no reason to leave Manhattan. Brooklyn, Queens, Stanton Island suck. Oh and heed this warning. Stay south of 125th. I'm sure your buddy will tell you about that though. Good luck and have fun. :dthumb:
