One of these days I'll discover what a power wheelie is like. Until then I guess both wheels are on the ground.

Anyone ever heard of the Streetfighterz out of St. Louis? They make all of the CNI stunting movies. Well I was talking to a guy last night who rides with them all of the time strictly parking lots. Said that on September 8, they have a thing called ride of the century where they are escorted by police on a couple of highways that circle St. Louis and even just the highway down in places. Stunt all you want, no tickets. Last year they had something like 700 people show up for it. Anyone down to go? lol. Seemed like a pretty cool guy though. Said he has a TLR that he normally rides on the street, and a F4i stunt bike and 636 stunt bike.

I was home on leave from the desert last year when they did that T Rock..... I rode with a couple Streetfighters on a charity run two months ago, they rode with gear on..... I would like to go to it this year, depends on my knee..

Yep... I like doing wheelies, but I'm retard terrible at them... Open throttle, raise the wheel... Close throttle, blow fork seals. At least I don't loop it!

I like how people think as soon as you attempt a wheelie you automaticly loop it and crash. Most normal people get unconfortable and let off completely and let the front end down hard.... but if your good you toggle the throttle and ride it out. :rockwoot:

Ya with only 1000'cc bikes to my resume the one wheel dance was mandatory. Now I see this young lad seems to have f'ed up and slipped a touch on the throttle and I have done the same but like they say play with knives and you are bound to get cut. isnt this why we all ride? To get some kind of thrill or enjoyment out of life that others sitting on there couch dont?

It is funny to watch a crash and if you've ever been in one as stupid as this you understand why it is 100% ok to make fun of this kid. And it is a good thing. Just think of how cheap that bike is now! Great. The embarrasment is the only thing that kept that
Guy on the ground! His pride was wounded not his body.

What I wonder is how and or why would you NOT want to know how to control your bike
in every way you can? You dont instantly die if you touch the ground, you dont always crash, and it may help you to know what the hell the bike is doing when you are challenged to drag or just feel like using more of the bike than your Grandmother would.

Nothing wrong with a good 1st gear roll on to get the front up and then use your best judgement and control same as you would in a turn, to keep it where you want it.

And yes EVERY bike made can go up on one wheel. no real magic to it just understanding.

I think I would enjoy being able to stunt, but before I do anything more than wheelies (still haven't) I would probably pick up a full out stunt bike.

I poped a small 2nd gear wheelie on the chop once... was hot rodding and accidently popped the clutch going into second... didn't know it did till I felt re-contact on the front wheel. Honest.. didn't mean to, but it happened...
