And the cost of this camera? Ng says it will be comparable to other consumer-priced digital cameras on the market.

That's damn slick. Would be infinitely better for getting shots of my dog when he's being insane... the few seconds it takes to focus usually costs me whatever photo-op I had.

Thats cool. That will make looking at pictures of spring break so much better. :rockwoot:

With kids and pets you do lose a lot of shots waiting for the camera to focus. Where does the line up start for this camera?

If you dudes are missing shots of kids/pets because you're waiting for your camera to focus...you're doing it wrong and you've got the wrong camera.

What should we be using? And if you post up some ridiculously big camera that I'm supposed to have at my disposal for unexpected pictures, I'm gonna make a special trip North to give you a good throat punch.

Gotta roll with the SLR if you mean serious business, my brother. It's the only way.

I guess this would be another way for those who mean serious business.

I have to wonder, considering these two articles read like press releases and the only claims about the camera are coming from those who stand to make money from it, if this isn't a campaign to drum up more venture capital. If it sounds too good to be true and all.
