I know Mario Williams of the Texans donated a four or five of the white ones to HPD.

This one had Constable decals on it. Looks like something out of a Transformers. Its a flat black almost, looks like a primer. Have no idea if this is a factory color.

Bumper and flat black kinda a giveaway on the black one. White will be sneaky. I hate when they do that.

If they were donated, that's cool, but otherwise I wouldn't want tax money spent on cars like that. Gotta cost 50-100% more than the typical cop cruiser.
Umm, I'm not sure if I would pull over for a matte black camaro

Would you pull over for a mid-80's Trans-Am? We have one of those here. State cops here have tons of different un-marked cars.

Nope, I'd call 911 and tell them that I think I'm being pulled over by a fake cop. They can tell me in 30 seconds if its a cop or not. Also I've never been pulled over by a non crown vic

I've seen all kinds of cop cars. 5.0 Mustang Lx was popular with a bunch of southern departments with the Camaro RS (IROC style) being somewhat less so but still fairly common. I've seen unmarked F150s with people pulled over around Baltimore. Tampa PD had a few Lincoln Navigators and I even saw an unmarked Lincoln LS with someone pulled over. The weirdest was years ago, probably around 20 at this point, I saw someone pulled over by a 911 that must have been previously confiscated by the cops.

Hehehe.....nice....make and model confusion....all the Federales in Mexico were driving Dodge Chargers the last time I was there.

This!
But as said... I'm not sure I'd pull over. I might slow way way down and call 911 but I wouldn't pull over.

TX DPS used to run Camaros and Mustangs in the 90's so it'd be nothing unusual here.

is the white one considered a "marked" car because of the barely legible police lettering?

good question, a lot of the hwy cars by me now have no light racks and no markings on the front or rear so its harder to tell its a cop car.

throw in all those asshats driving 5 year old used cop CC's, that everyone thinks are real cops, causing traffic problems (because everybody thinks it's inherently illegal to pass a cop on any road, for any reason), and the cluster fuck continues...

Agreed x2... If I got pulled over by that thing, I'd ask to get out and look at it.

Flat black is nice as long as it's clear-coated.....otherwise it looks like primer

We have those..but they're all lifted 8-12" with 26" rims....some still sporting the stripes and paint faded door where they removed the shield.
Stay classy southerners!!
