It's amazing what a drop of 10-15 degrees can make in peoples attitude as well. Work has been a bitch session for the last two weeks with 100 degree weather.

I got up this morning to work out....saw the temp...and the pouring down rain and immediately made a plan. I did my shoulders and back workout then sat out on my deck in the pouring rain to cool off.

It was AMAZING. :rockwoot:

For some reason I was expecting this thread to be about constipation.

Goddamn that looks like heaven. Your weekly forecast is just...well it makes me tear up a bit. A thing of beauty.

Our forecast (Fort Worth) shows us from 102-108 for the next week with no rain.

Kansas was stuck in the same rut.....brutally hot.

This change happened all at once...we were stuck under a huge dome of high pressure for over a month....hot....windy....and dry....and then overnight it's in the 60's and pissing down rain.

Don't know if it will last...but....I'm loving it for now.

Well, if you're in this thread looking for some constipation advice, I'd recommend that you lose some weight....eat a healthier diet....and get at least an hour of exercise every day. :dthumb: :lmao:

Is the ground absorbing any of it or are you guys ripe for flooding now?

I honestly don't know...I was sitting in a little Mom & Pop cafe Saturday morning listening to the local farmers talk...about how they lost their corn crops this year...and how their milo and soybean crops were shit....one guy said he had 22 soil samples done all over his acerage....and on average there was NO moisture in the soil until about 3.5 feet down.

It's scary dry....

Guessing it's soaking in pretty well, unless it's coming hard and fast.

My Uncle lives in Great Bend and is loving it, finally getting green grass again.

Fuck the grass..the town I live in buys all....ALL ....of our water from an adjoining town. The lakes in the adjoining town went dry so there was no water to sell us.

The town I live in spent $120k to re-activate 2 wells out by the river that haven't been used in 25 years in a desperate attempt to provide a supply of potable water.

It was/is a GIANT mess.

Not as long as there's snow to play in.
