Felt it here. Wife said the courthouse shook pretty bad (she's on the 11th floor). Pretty good rumble at ground level where I'm at, very near RDU.

Felt it here. First I thought I was imagining things or maybe a big truck rolled by outside since they are working on the building next door. Then I felt it again and noticed my windows were creaking. Just heard from the folks on the floor that the lights where swaying.

Crazy, considering how far away we are.

I ran for my life, was in Baltimore, saw some bricks fall off buildings, some light posts fell down, and some of the stands that they are using for the USGP were toppled.

Some nails have popped through the walls in my house, some pictures fell off the walls, drawers shook open but no major damage to anything.

Also found this picture of the devastation:

Why the fuck do people evacuate after a small quake? Uh, the event is over dipshits, you don't have to leave.

Fear of aftershocks?

That's fine if you don't live around things that can fall on you.

I'd rather find a nice good structural point inside instead of running out to where shit can fall on your head.

What is this earthquake you speak of?

We have these. My mother and her husband lived through this. Three of these fuckers went through.

I was a bit freaked out thought a gas main exploded - I mean really earthquake stroudsburg. We were one of the first to detect it in our area. We had no idea our building was earthquake rated with suspension and crap that allows it to move on the foundation.

I thought I was going to have to slap a co-worker she was about to hyperventilate. She's cute, tiny and sweet so I just spoke softly and urgent and led he to the doorway to stand. Then we popped outside while the buidling was cleared

I still think most of these people are just loading on and jumping on the band wagon.

Besides, it didn't do shit.

BUT last night, it poured rain at my house. My lawn, work truck and wifes car all got soaked. We barely escaped without loosing power. We may have experienced a brown out. I was lucky, as I slept through all of it. It was insane!

Lol

I was nine, you fucking perv.

We were living in Beverly Hills at the time, (swimming pools, movie stars). Knocked the chimney off the house, and fucked up my dad's Impala, (chimneys were not a factory option on the '71 Impala).

Shoulda been. Would have definitely improved both the looks and utility of it. Couldn't have messed up the cornering any more than it already was.

I work less than 30 miles from the epicenter. Never felt it as I was 30 foot in the air on a screen tower that shakes like a SOB anyways. Had just come out from one of our tunnels about 60 foot underground though.

Checked my seismographs at work and biggest vibes I got recorded from the 3 of them is a 5.4

Was funny when the phones started working again, had all these calls from people wondering if I was OK. I never felt it, and heard about it 15 minutes after it happened.

Some people react to the ground shaking a little differently than others, apparently...

I notice she took the opportunity to wear a low-cut top, however. No doubt the only reason she gets any clicks.
