Sucks that Steve Jobs died. Not because I met him or liked him or because I'm a fan of Apple products. Because it sucks to die from cancer.
That said, turns out he gave us one last gift: he drowned out Sarah Palin's attention whoreness. She wasn't even in headlines on the Fox News or CNN websites. Thank you, Steve.

You're in Orlando. I was in Orlando yesterday. I watched some lady spend 20 minutes trying to get her phone to work... she was talking into a TV remote.
iPad, iPhone, iMac, etc? Kryptonite...

I meant here on TWFix... I would probably know absolutely zero about Palin post 2009 if it weren't for people here constantly needing to talk about how they hope people will stop talking about her...

Clever. I'm under no illusions that people will stop talking about her. News of Jobs' death will carry one, maybe two news-days tops. If she doesn't get more front page coverage from this, she'll get it later as she continues to criticize people who didn't resign their public offices for book deals and public speaking fees.
I just thought it was funny that Palin is getting no real coverage at the moment when her entire quasi-campaign has been tailored for this moment. The "will she, won't she" suspense that she's been trying to build all came down to this big "revelation," which I'm sure she thought would propel her right back into the forefront of the news cycle. And I'm laughing at the mental image of her sitting in her tour bus cursing Steve Jobs and his audacity for dying the day of her big reveal.

I don't know about that, Steve was a big fucking asshole. Hell, he legally tried to claim he was sterile to get out of paying child support on Lisa.

That was a long time ago. He paid for Lisa to go to Harvard and she works at some magazine or newspaper now. He has 3 younger children with his wife though.
