On behalf of 101lifts2. RIP

To everyone wanting to give to One Legacy as part of the TWFix donation. Gas Man will be the give to point and he will make the donation for us all. We will be doing this private, so those that either do not want to give or wish their donation to remain private will not have to worry about anything publicly posted.

If you wish to give no matter how large or small to One Legacy through TWFix donation, please send Gas Man a pm asking for his paypal address and he will respond with it. Label the donation as a gift to send it to him, so the money is not hit up with fees. If you do not have paypal, send me or him a pm and we can work something out if you still want to donate.

We will not be releasing who gives what or even who gives period. You don't even have to label your username to the donation, so it can never be tied to you. This is just about giving in Bill's honor to a good organization that Bill supported.

Sorry for my delay everybody. Trip didn't heads up me that I was indeed doing the collection... will respond to PM's now.

If you want faster response, feel free to EMAIL (http://www.twowheelfix.com/sendmessage.php?do=mailmember&u=8)me thru the forum. That goes straight to my phone.

Details:

There is no need to post in this thread anything additional - just trying to split out the information for those that won't weed through the entire thread.

I'm closing the donations in the morning and getting a certified check. I have the form mostly filled out to complete it. If you are trying to donate still, please EMAIL (http://www.twowheelfix.com/sendmessage.php?do=mailmember&u=8) me.

EVERYBODY!!!

If you can help me with a name and address of one of Bill's family members, please EMAIL (http://www.twowheelfix.com/sendmessage.php?do=mailmember&u=8) me. I want to include it on the donation form, so they are made aware of our collection. Please help.

Ok everybody. I ran this a tad long to help out with collection.

We have sent in our donation of $530 In Memory of William Kaucky.
With a special acknowledgement to TwoWheelFix.com collection.

We have directed our gift to help Donor Family Support Services, going for the following.

We offer bereavement support to donor families, for their grief journey is just beginning once the donation process is complete. Family support includes:

• Grief support material and phone calls offered to families
• The Companion, OneLegacy’s quarterly donor family newsletter
• Recipient medical updates as requested by donor families
• Facilitate communication and meetings between donor families and recipients
• Four regional Donor Rememberance Ceremonies annually

Bill's sister has been very supportive and taken back by all the support by the community...

Chris-
We are honored that you have done this. I can't tell you how much it means. I am so impressed with the brotherhood you all share...never even formally meeting one another. It is truly touching. Thank you for your kindness. Dying doing what Bill loved is one of the things I take comfort it. I also take comfort in knowing that he impacted so many like you. I met several people from the forum at his service in CA, and still tell others about it. How amazing it is to see people who never met him before, but felt like they knew him enough to pay respects personally. This speaks volumes to the character of you group. Thank you from the bottom of my heart,

Di

Amung other things I told her...

The brotherhood of bikers is a powerfull thing and once you see it, you will notice it everywhere. Bikers are the first to speak up to help, donate, and give of themselves. Sound like somebody we both knew? Your brother. Please share your expierence with your family and others you know. This is a legacy that all bikers wish to leave behind.

I hope I did right by everybody and in Bill's honor. Thank you to everybody that helped make this happen, kept us informed on everything during this process. It has been a roller coaster for many, if not all of us. I'm sure I can say for many here, this is a great piece of closure, a great honor we have done for Bill. May he Rest in Peace and God Bless us all that are left here in his wake.

The donation was made for $530 to One Legacy in honor of Bill aka 101lifts.

I got this letter back from One Legacy, blurred out a bit of it out for online posting reasons... DUH!
