Stole this from VFRWorld. They were quite happy to have two bikes from the VFR lineage and another V4 bike on the list.

But boy is that RC166 the badest thing I have ever heard. I got all giddy when they fired it up at the end of the video...

Truth. RC51 with satos will make you shoot a load in your pants.

No TL1000R? That list has no crediblity. *shakes head*

A few of you have heard my TLR. I've heard very few bikes that even come close.

My dad used to have a V-Max with custom pipes and that thing was fucking ridiculous, in a vicious, rip your head off, growling animal kind of way.

I also love the sound of the RC51's with a full Sato, or any big bore or multiple cylinder 2 stroke.

Any large displacement twin with a decent system makes sweet music.

Full yosh system?

Yes, but much more than the average run of the mill Yosh system. Mine is one of the FULL titanium systems. They only made approximately 200 sets, and they went to racers primarily from what I can find. It is titanium from the heads all the way to the back of the mufflers. The whole thing weighs 11 pounds. It has larger diameter pipe throughout the entire system.

To say it is a moving experience is an understatement. I took a video a while back of it, but it totally doesn't do it justice. :/

I have rode and heard G-Rex's TLR, and I will say it has a bigger, deeper thump than my TLR with the full Yosh.

I have not looked at the list, but gotta be a crossplane R1 with aftermarket exhaust on it if its a recent article, just sayin.....

Since they're going to relist motor configurations more than once, at least throw a SINGLE cylinder in there...

What stroke/sound is personal preference...

Yes yes, you and your fancy golden unicorn exhaust system.
I liked the rumble of my M4's, thanks very much. :nee:

I have to agree, TLRs are great. I've never heard one with the magical Yoshi system, but even simple Blue Flame slip-ons sounded amazing. Much more raw and with more "impact" than the RCs I've heard with exhausts. Some of the recent Ducati 1098s and 1198s I've heard with exhausts are similar.

The first time I realized I had to start paying attention to bikes was after being behind an old Duc 851 (back when they were new) with an exhaust at a light. I still remember the admiring "What the hell is that!?" feeling I got from hearing it.

I thought my tls with yoshi slip ons sounded awesome but have heard a few rc's and TL's with full system that sounded awesome.

its a similar deal, 990 triple reverse spun with a head designed by the cosworth F1 team. they say once it got on powerband it would try to tear your arms out and eat you. Haga binned it 28 times in one year. pure monster

http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/features/122_0401_aprilia_rs3_cube/index.html

its a goddamned shame really that they didnt carry on long enough for the real electronic era to start. never really reached its potential
