Well I am finally in the 21st century withthe rest of you guys and have a smart phone so can you guys recommend me some good apps to get. I will be getting some work/medical ones to use as refrences but wanted to see what else you guys have

What phone are you using? It may determine what you can get. Most of them are available across multiple platforms, but there are still a few out there that are specific to one OS.

The stuff I use the most are Springpad, Dropbox, Box.net, RL Classic, and Google Voice, and iThoughtsHD. All of those are cross platform except for iThoughtsHD.

I got the samsung stratosphere from radioshack and is a droid.

Didn't know Netflix had an app for droid now. Sweet, battery killin' action.

Should have read this earlier. A medic I worked with the other day had some cool medical reference stuff on his educated-phone. I think I'm working with him next week and I'll see what he had.

Epocrates, dropbox, netflix, plants vs zombies, lane splitter, Chrome to phone, Photobucket, Android finder, music download, I heart radio, etc....

Oh and if you have dish network and a slingbox capable dvr, you're going to want the dish and slingbox apps. The dish app let's you control and set up your dvr from your phone and slingbox let's you watch whatever programming you are subscribed to or have recorded on your phone.
