If I work on my upper body a ton and really start monkeying off, I think I might be able to drop an elbow.

Had to go pick up a wrecked bike, so deal's gap resort could store it in the garage. The guy got taken to the hospital and all his buddies left him. It was still rideable and I had never ridden a z1000, so I took the chance to demo it on the best road. Only problem was it didn't have a front brake. Drewpy was the only way to get me out to the bike.

It looks like your upper body is still on top of the bike (ask me how I know, really) but your right, if you drop the shoulder and kiss the mirror, you'll have it down. You officially disgust me btw, I am so friggin jealous. *sigh*

Very nice of ya. Crappy of his "friends". Hope the guy is okay. How was the bike still rideable if he wasnt?

Ok, so I've seen it alot now. What is the purpose of the fuzzy thing (looks like a athlete's wristband) around the front brake reservoir? Do you want the brake fluid to stay hot??

protects your brake fluid from sunlight

um, ok... guess that makes sense. (didn't know sun killed DOT4 :idk: )

Mine is in a little black box anyway, as is my clutch fluid, so I guess I'm good.

I always Thought it was for track days where they didnt want fluid to leak...

I heard that they also keep the moisture out. :idk: I don't have one on my bike.

Drewpy has it right, sunlight will breakdown brake fluid quicker. If you don't have a clear resi, it's not something you need to worry about.

Yeah my upper body sucks still.

He broke a collarbone and went to the hospital.

Trip You posted A picture of Yourself Right?? If So thats your White CBR?

How do you like the Akra Exhaust? I'm looking at Them for my ZX6 and I REALLY Like how the Akrapovic Looks and I've heard the Youtube videos...and I know you don't ride a Kawasaki but its essentially going to sound the same being a 600 and all.

Yeah I think I'm just gonna Bite the Bullet and Order it...Id Rather spend more and have something I like than try and cheap out and get something I'll be unhappy with.

The wristbands are there to prevent sunlight from hitting it. It will create condensation inside the bottle and having water in your brake fluid isn't good. Now your everyday street/track rider probably doesn't need it, but it's just another way to personalize your bike. I don't use one and my brakes have been good for 12k miles and 6 track days.
