I got a new muddler in my stocking just for the making of mojitos.

Mint, Sugar, Rum, Soda and twist of lime.

Maybe sweet but not fruity.

I muddle the mint leaves, 1/4 lime squeezed in, mash them, 3oz or so of Bacardi Lemon, 4 ice cubes, diet sierra mist, the other 1/4 lime squeezed & dropped in.

I was told about the sierra mist... it's easier and taste better than club soda and simple sugar. It adds more citrus.

Not fruity. Come on over, we'll make em, see how many you can drink. LOL

I use regular club soda and then a squirt of agave nectar as a sweetener.

The sugar is more to help muddle the mint leaves than as sweetener.
