Hey thanks all. It all kinda came together nicely for the pic, but it was one brisk ride! Bought this bike three years ago from a middle aged gent who was meticulous with the bike, including keeping detailed maintenance records. He only put 12,800 miles on the bike in eight years. I have a riding friend who had 135,000 miles on his 5th gen, but alas a truck in Tennessee ran him off the road. Miguel came through the off road excursion just fine, but not so the bike. Anyway, from another angle when pausing earlier on the same ride for another pic.

Red '98-'00 with Sargent seat and cowl; the twin of the bike I sold, back in '10.

Where was the pic taken? Beautiful scenery! Would love to ride some nice open roads like that versus the city streets here and risk getting run over by a drunkard

I did happen to record a ride vid of this road at the same time the pic was taken. The recording goes from the C on the map to the A. The old homestead of the image above is at the B, and is passed at 3:30 of the vid.

I really miss living out west. Would love to move back to Utah at some point in my life. But, that's a minimum of 12 years away.
