Best news in ages
For a while, it seemed like the chances for a sequel to the 1994 hit comedy "Dumb & Dumber" was one out of a hundred, or even one out of a million. But it turned out there was a chance. And at a junket for "The Three Stooges," the original film's co-director Peter Farrelly said that not only is a sequel set to go into production this September, but original stars Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels will reprise their roles as Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne.
According to ComingSoon.net, who broke the story, Farrelly was clear about the reality of the sequel. "We're getting set to shoot 'Dumb & Dumber 2' in September," he told the website. "It's the first sequel we've ever done and we've got Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels back."
But wait: wasn't there already a sequel to "Dumb & Dumber," the completely forgettable "Dumb and Dumberer" that detailed the origin story of Harry and Lloyd? Don't worry about it, said Farrelly, who co-wrote and co-directed the original film with his brother Bobby. "We did not do 'Dumb and Dumberer,'" he said. "That was a studio thing."
"Dumb and Dumberer" was not even the first time a sequel to the comedy had been ordered. At one point, "South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone were hired to write a sequel, soon after the original was a hit. (They eventually turned down the job.) The original movie also spawned a short-lived children's cartoon.
The idea of the bumbling Harry and Lloyd as middle-aged doofuses may be hard to imagine, but the famously sequel-shy Carrey appears to be fully behind the project, according to Farrelly. Previously, Carrey had declined to appear in sequels to films he starred in, but earlier this year, EW reported that Carrey planned on starring in a sequel to his 2003 hit "Bruce Almighty."
Sounds like Jim is having trouble getting a hit and is going back to his more famous films.

"The sequel, 'Dumb and Dumber III', will be a documentary examining the rise of Canadian alternative comedian Jim Carrey, his years on 'In Living Color', rise to stardom, the stupidity of leaving Loren Holly, and his eventual decline into douchebaggery."

Lauren Holly just doesn't do it for me. Jim could get someone hotter.

Women are gold diggers, as long as new jim has money, it doesn't really matter how shitty his acting is, he can get someone younger and hotter

'In Living Color'
Still some of the funniest stuff I remember. The first couple years, anyway.

I have hope, Dumb and Dumber is the best comedy movie of all time IMO
Jeff Daniels is who made the movie basically, most of the script of the original was modified by him and Jim Carry's free wheeling comedy.

Season three totally fell apart, but they were doing well until then.
I don't watch reality shows, other than "Cops", but I immediately recognized the "Fly Girl" Carrie Anne, as a judge on "Dancing with the Stars."

If the suits will let these two do the movie on their own I can see it having potential but itll be butchered up before release.

Felicia Day.
Felicia Day.
She is on the Web show The Guild, it's on Netflix. You can watch through the newest season already. It's pretty funny if you like MMORPG games. If not, you will be bored through a lot of it.

You kidding? I'm an old school RPGer. There are probably 200 RPG rulebooks in my bookshelves.

I was thinking more about the idea that I might not know about the show.

Oh, I quoted your comment, but was aiming it at Apoc than you. I figured you knew about the guild since you knew who she was...

If you're a fan of geek humour, then you'd probably like these guys. Waiting for season 2 of "JourneyQuest."

Jenn Page is also pretty hot, as geek girls go.

Just finished catching up on my "The Guild" watching, as it had been quite a while. Worth the time just to see Will Wheaton tossed down the stairs.

If you've got any RPG background, you should like "The Gamers; Dorkness Rising." It covers just about every pen and paper RPG meme there has ever been.
