Man that Honda's got power.

Man, that Ducati sucks.

Stoner still can't manage his tires.

Was watching rossi talk shit about ducati, their bike design and technical development, and the way the crt team riders ruined his race. They passed him when he was in 10th, and he was only able to manage to pick up the 2 spots he lost by the end of the race. I wish someone would ask him how it feels to be average.

Meh. The Yamaha looks like the most sorted package. Besides Spies electronics fuckery. Even the Tech 3 bikes looked good...

The Honda looks like it has big chatter problems. I'm not too sure how much post race they showed on TV, but if you have the GP video pass, Stoner was in some arm and wrist pain from extreme chatter.

The Ducati bikes were fastest through the traps IIRC. Hayden didn't look too bad. He had a hard time breaking in the tires and he got caught behind the falling Spies which seperated him from the front runners. Rossi is DONE...

Not shocking that the Honda's and Yamaha's are up front.

But goddam, it's painful to watch the Ducati. It seems like the only thing they haven't changed yet is the damn engine. 30 second's back? Rossi looks so damn frustrated, maybe even mentally defeated. Wonder if it's too late for him to start his own team with Aprilia?

Its sad when Barbera on the Pramac looks like they have a better package than the factory boys. He kinda fucked himself in the first corner of the last lap, but he might have beaten Hayden.

How are you guys watching the races?

I'm pretty much over the coverage offered by SPEED.

I bought the basic video package on MotoGP.com. I think its on sale for $49 right now. I gladly pay that for the enjoyment I recieve from it. Plus you can go back and watch all the races back to 1992. And you get all the offseason stuff too. If you have the money for it, the HD package is amazing...

If not, get Dave to send you torrents. They are the Eurosport announcers usually.

Yep. Only I got the HD package. :rockwoot: After getting it halfway through the year last year, it is $ well spent, IMO.
I believe you can also watch the practice/qualifying (for all GP classes) live on SPEED2.com if your cable satellite provider has a deal with them. I have DirecTv, so it isn't available to me.

MotoGP.com HD package...it's awesome.

Having said that, FUCK the "premier" class....Moto2 is where the entertaining RACING is.

It looked like Hayden rode his ass off to finish like 28 seconds behind. That has got to be truly frustrating. What's weird is I think Rossi turned his fastest laps on a worn tire at the end of the race. Maybe he realized how close the CRT bikes were to him.

You have to have some kind of user name and password for your cable/sat provider to access the Speed2 feed. I had no fucking idea what mine was.

I have DirecTV. They currently aren't one of the providers. Time Warner, Brighthouse, Optimum Cablevision, Dish, and Cox are the only ones listed so far.

Why do these things always turn into discussions about "coverage"?

It's motorcycles going around in circles, how much fucking "coverage" do you need?

IIRC the world feed is pretty much the same wherever you are anyways.

I thought it was a great race

Agreed. The GP race was a snooze fest, but Moto2 kicked ass.

I don't know about you, but I like to watch more than the shitty SPEED "coverage" we get here. Moto2 and Moto3 are damn good races to watch, week in and week out.

I used to think that too, until I started watching the 90 minute uninterrupted coverages they get on the other side of the pond.

There is no going back.

You have to be tech savvy enough to download torrents, though. :tremble:

So I hear Attack is building a Kawasaki based CRT for a one time wildcard in the USA rounds. Should be interesting, the low dev time can be offset by tweaking the engine way to the max because it will only need to live for one race...
