A populace that eats too much and the wrong food=1st world problem. Turns out I couldn't care less, but I didn't try that hard.

This.
Self control, self responsibility and a little education. Thanks to the internet, the excuses have run out, it's up to the people.

I have no sympathy for people with smoking related illness....or lard ass related illness.
Those idiots choose that lifestyle....well, guess what...they chose the consequences at the same time....if they don't care enough about themselves to prevent or change that lifestyle, then fuck them. Why should I? :idk:

Given a choice, I would rather see a kid eating fries than Fruit Loops

9 years in the ER and I have gotten that way as well. I now despise the morbidly obeese people that come in for all sorts of stuff that could be prevented if they dont eat mcdonalds 5 times a day.
As I have said before its all these young fatties that will become semi older fatties and cripple the healthcare system.
calorie count. its simple fucking math

Yesterday a guy was complaining at the grocery store. His complaint was on another level...
- there were not enough little mechanical carts for him to get one to use for his shopping. His "disability" was he was too fat to walk around. Mind you, he didn't have a handicap tag or otherwise, he just was a fatass and didn't want to walk.
- the carts they did have weren't as good as the ones he uses at Target. The seats on the ones at the grocery weren't wide enough to be comfortable for his huge ass.
- the baskets weren't large enough to buy all the lardass food that he needs to buy to maintain his huge weight. He suggested having a cart that he can tow behind one.
After being a person that actually NEEDED one of these carts to shop - I was on crutches for 8 weeks- I was pissed at his "need" and complaint. The manager was polite and thanked him for his time.

When more and more people are glued to a screen, or driving a car to high school instead of walking/biking, it only makes things worse. I would say that only about 25% of my high school class had cars, and it wasn't a poor district or anything. Nowadays it seems like 75%.

We used to have checks and balances, we used to ridicule and make fun of fat people to their face. Now its all about acceptance. I posted this on my FB the other day, but since Married With Children was cancelled Obesity in America has gone from 19% to 36%...

I would of never gotten to school without a car or a bus. It would of taken me at least 1-2 hours to bike to school, god knows how long to walk.
Not everyone lives within spitting distance of school.
