Seems like a neat bike, especially for $3k. Still not sold on these smaller startups, but their SM for next year looks interesting. I also think that its pretty much a cheap chinese engine with a standard style frame.

I watched a couple of interviews of the folks behind this I couldn't stop saying "What ever...asshole" at the screen.

The sales pitch - Motorcycles are too complicated so we've created this lineup up of shitty Chinese bikes so you can look cool and be authentic by fixing your own shit on the side of the road"

Gee thanks.

I've pissed off a couple of folks for not liking these things...so far I've offended Ducati snobs who would never buy one but "love the look" and Hipsters who think modern 250's from the major manufacturers are "unauthentic and dull"

fuck em...
I wouldn't recommend these bikes to anyone.
Great...its light weight and cheap. They include a manual for when it breaks down because fixing it yourself is part of the the authenticity.

Good to know that part of the sales pitch is that you have to fix it your self after it breaks down.

That rant being said...I look forward to the little hipster orange county choopers building enough bikes to pay for better engines, wiring and some fucking fuel injection (or at least carbs that stay tuned)

Hey man,
I started a new car company.

Its built on a Yugo platform but I upgraded the shocks and and have a couple of body kits for it.
One looks like a classic Mini
Another looks like a Austin Heeley
Our big seller has styling cues from the BMW 2002

It includes a service manual and a glue on beard.

It might be good for cities like NYC... where you would normally only get a scooter if you wanted a cheap basher.

So for a grand more you could get a bulletproof Ninja 250 or new CBR250R.

Hard to tell who they ripped off to design that motard.

And by hard to tell, it's blatantly obvious Ducati & Aprilia where the ones who they shanghaied.

Others have pointed out its deficiencies.

I'd rather have one of these for a little more (less for the kit, more once the donor bike is bought), even if it does require getting a donor bike and some work to complete.
