Hey all... picked up the URL for this website off of CEO's bike in a post over on NESR, figured I'd check out the place.

My name's Pete, I've been a licenced rider since 2001 but didn't get my first bike till 2004. Began doing track days just 3 months after getting my first bike ('00 ZX6R), started racing on an EX500 in 2006 and instructing for Tony's Track Days later that year.

Right now I ride a 2003 Aprilia Tuono on the street and at track days and I race a 2006 SV650. I also have a 2003 KX250 but that hasnt' gotten any use since I broke my wrist in a racing accident last year :(

If you're interested in seeing some more (not so current) pics they can be found at www.bikepics.com/members/oreogaborio

Thanks, folks.

Figured I'd throw a couple shots into the thread here instead of just linking you to all of em...

Here's the Tuono before I bought it (some minor changes made since this photo was taken... bar end mirrors, tinted DB windscreen, & a little added bling w/ a carbon fiber fender)

Yeah I was lucky to get in w/ a group of INCREDIBLY experienced riders right off the bat that showed me the ropes & got me on the right track, both figuratively & literally :)

That's part of the reason why I try to take new riders under my wing... like CEO9867234986398734 :P For some straaaaaange reason, I remember his first track day almost as vividly as he does :idk:

Ohhh yeah, maybe THIS is why I remember it....

Seriously though, I was pretty impressed w/ Chris' riding, ESPECIALLY for his amount of experience. That was his first track day & I'm pretty sure he put a knee down (besides in that crash, hehe)

To be fair to him, here's another picture from that same day... again, very new rider, only riding for a couple months & it was his first track day. He did very well.

Welcome Pete :twfix:

Good to see another fast guy over here with some racing knowledge. Listen to this guy, twfixers... he knows his shit. And he helped me quite a bit my first few track days before I bumped out of his group. I still ping off him for help in the garages.

That wreck was actually my second track day... my first track day was about 3 weeks prior, I did pretty well and yes, dragged knee. Then I came back for the two day and crashed midday on the first of the two days. Stiff arms and cold tires = byebye front! Crazy to think how far I've come since then :panic:

Here's a pointer for ya, Chris.. Don't crash :D
 Thanks dick :moon:
