amazon has them for a buck 99 an episode and are usualy available the following day. We may DVR it but if I am at work I will watch it on the computer. Others who are more tech savvy can probably find it for free.

2. The bulk of the epidemic and deaths happened in the first month or so (while Rick was comatose).
3. Dead people cease to consume ammo

Provided they stick to common calibers, all they'd need to find are a couple of boxes here and there to keep them going (as long as they aren't fighting large scale battles like the fall of the farm). Then you have to assume they occasionally find a cache or case that got left in a store or police station for a substantial bump of at least one or two calibers.

Great 1st episode of the season. Poor Hershel - I've come to like his character, I hope he at least makes it through this season.

It's a prison fence; it should be designed to hold large groups of people, at least for a short period.

The inside of that prison must REALLY stink, from all of the corpses, rotting zombies, toilets full of shit/piss, etc. The air quality must be dangerous considering all of the bacteria, mold, etc. that must be in there, espeically since the HVAC systems have been offline and no air circulation.

I've never seen a prison in the middle of the woods. Most of them tend to be well marked in the area with signs and roads and such. It seems like they had a lot to get done in the first episode and didnt want to spend much time on the discovery of it.

No amputation works, but just a hint, pretty much everyone becomes a zombie or is killed off. So if you like someone, don't get attached.

Now its several months after the outbreak so its safe to say this will wipe out the human race, there is no government lef tto help the people so its back to the old days of survival and living off hte land, which most of us arent capable of doing anyway.

I think Herschell had the right idea about the prison though, digging a trench to get clean water in and at least growing some plants to help feed them. You have ot figure them and other survivors have scavenged prety much everything so pickins are slim, and in addition to needing food and water they need adequate shelter and need to wipe out as many walkers as they can.

Only thing I can think of is they dont know if a stargler or 2 will show up or a hundred of them. I too would want to get them to come to a choke point like a door or something and just keep killing htem as they try to get through.

Just so you know, you can watch the episodes online after they air for free. I just found out myself. I wasn't going to pay amazon $2 per episode to watch and luckily, I don't have to. They said he was comming back last year too and he was just in a dream, but I could see him being in with the governor. They should devote more of the next episode to andrea and how she wound up where she did. Seems things could get stagnant at the prison now. Good call on the zip ties, I forgot about that as well, being its close to a year since this happened I am surprised to see so many walkers in the prison that havent decomposed. Apparently, AMC has been taking lessons from the schoolyard drug-dealer! The first episode of the new season was available on amc.com but, now it seems they are only available on itunes or amazon. That's fine though. It allowed me to check out a show a friend recommended and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone else! It's on Hulu. I don't know if you have to have huluplus because we have it so, I don't know what is on regular hulu. Anyway, it's called The Booth at the End. Watch one episode and you're hooked!

The prisoner is who cut the locks and sounded the alarm, etc. That is what I interpreted based on him having the axe (as the culprit featured in the beginning) as well as what he said. Had they cleared the prison completely, they would have encountered him already and none of this would have happenned.

They take the path of least resistance. That's why I figured that the farm had been safe for so long; the fences. Put an obstacle in their way and they go around it, unless there's something to attract them. You know; like the smell of blood and the screams of a woman who is being cut open.

I said it the last time. They should have been using the barred gates to block off areas and then slaughtered the walkers through them.

Downloaded all of the comics this afternoon out of curiosity. Read the first 6 issues and its interesting to see the differences and similarities. Definitely find the show much more entertaining as the dialog in the comics is crap so far. Maybe it gets better.

I was into comics way back in the day. Plenty of good ones (at least then) with good writing. My favorite to this day is still "Sandman" written by Neil Gaiman. Do yourself a favor and download the first 10 if you can find them and read them. You may find yourself hooked.

It was nice to see them actually acknowledge this in the comic. The "Roamers" slow down and there isnt a whole lot of them around during the winter months. A true, cold winter would have them all frozen solid. I doubt they could just thaw out from it either. Freezing a brain must be just as deadly as a hatchet.

I see they wussed out with the governor (So far anyway.) Sure he is a little nuts in the show, but in the comic he's just brutal. He doesn't have Merle there to do his dirty work either.

I wasn't surprised that they swapped Maggie in for Michonne though. After Michonne was raped/beaten everyone in the mail section cried "Racism" and gave Robert Kirkman shit for months. They softened the whole situation up for the show but I suppose that makes sense too. I see they wussed out with the governor (So far anyway.) Sure he is a little nuts in the show, but in the comic he's just brutal. He doesn't have Merle there to do his dirty work either.

I wasn't surprised that they swapped Maggie in for Michonne though. After Michonne was raped/beaten everyone in the mail section cried "Racism" and gave Robert Kirkman shit for months. They softened the whole situation up for the show but I suppose that makes sense too. The previews for the next episode show some sort of battle in the arena area with tear gas.... So the group does go back in to get Daryl. I assume they save Merle too... That will make some interesting drama, especially considering there's Tyreese's group already as something to deal with, though I'm sure once people recognize him from before the shit hit the fan their assimilation will be quick. They did show some potential conflict there, but I think that will be easily resolved.

With that whole section of fence and wall down walkers will be getting in, then bouncing around and not leaving. It's like a lobster trap and they take the path of least resistance.

Merle didn't more or less lie, it outright said that she was dead. That's why The Governor threw him under the bus. If Andrea gets in between him and Rick's group, she's going to end up dead.

I was wondering if Tyreese would show up. I liked T-Dog but his story is just not as interesting as what Tyreese and his group brings. As usual though, the group he showed up with doesnt really jive with the comic to well. That's good though. I like the fact that I'm still left guessing through most of it.

4. How could that punk kid cop know that Bruce Wayne was Batman after only meeting him once but the top cop in Gotham had no idea after several meetings with them both?

5. How did Batman get several miles away from the nuclear bomb blast, auto pilot or no auto pilot?

6. How in the HELL is he and Selena living in Europe off of 1 string of pearls?

it was good, but seems like a throw away episode as well since we dont realy see anything withthe governor and the impending battle. I wonder if the hitch hiker was still alive if they would have picked him up on the way back. Plus they kno wthey can go back to th etown since morgan will probably off himself sooner or later and it seems he has a huge arsenal there.
