Well, shock and surprise, the attorneys get more than the "named" plaintiffs. $2.25 million vs. $30,000. I'd say the attorneys fought more for themselves than they did for the plaintiffs.
I'd copy and paste the e-mail I received, but there is of course a clause stating that it's strictly prohibited. I guess the attorneys don't want me to show others how big of thieves they are.

We are working on a class action suit ourselves right now... Honestly, the lawyers do make money, but they also put in a ridiculous amount of work. The plaintiffs just sit on their ass and wait for shit to happen, the lawyers really do work their asses off... Recognize that in a big suit like this, it could be literally 100's of people working on them... that money isn't just going to 3 or 4 guys...
No but the owners of the law office or the major partners make 90 percent if the money, the other 10 percent party for cost (like employee pay). At the same time those lawyers might get involved in a hundred potential class action law suits until they find a viable one, all the while shelling out tons of money in the process without any income because the lawsuits didn't go anywhere

It is up to the plaintiffs to negotiate a better take. Tell the lawyers you want more, or you'll find another firm.
