I'd rock the shit out of an underground condo from that one place... not because I think shit's going to hit the fan, but just because it's cool as fuck. I've always wanted to live in a weird house like that... underground, one of those concrete domes, or an old firehouse/church conversion...

Speaking of, I'd honestly be happy with a securely built earth-sheltered home (built into a hill, or maybe full on atrium style).
It drastically reduces heating and cooling bills.

There is a house right down the street from me that is built into the ground. The only thing you can see is the skylight peak coming up out of the ground. Might have to snap some pictures sometime...
