Looks great. I've done some crazy shit like that before. Problem being I normally don't have vise grips in my tool roll.

We mounted a rear foot peg on the forward controls of Razor's bike in Georgia two years ago. That was pretty good.

Did the same thing (other end) for a buddy's bike a couple of weeks ago. :lol:

Zip-ties, vice grips, electrical tape......and beer.

Ugly, but he didn't have to walk home.

From yesterdays ride The Tenere apparently cant survive jumping, it bent the skid plate back and put a hole in the oil pan. After some JB weld and oil from some hunters he was able to ride it out though:

Saw that in the thread you posted the other day.... looks like he needs a beefier skid plate.

it was the beefy Yamaha did plate, problem is that it doesn't bolt to the frame, it has small mounting tabs. those just f olded down, some of the other aftermarket ones bolt to the frame, but most of them are big and ugly
