Jeeps84 in the hospital

Our old and dear friend here, Jeeps84 aka David, has had a heart attack on Monday.

I finally got word from his wife on facebook.

His heart finally got back to 35% and they took him off the heart pump.

Yesterday he got put in a step down unit off the ICU. Stable.

He's had a bumpy road this week but he's fast in life so I'm sure he'll be fast in healing.

No bueno... my dad had 2. I know how much it took a toll on him.

Yesterday he got put in a non-ICU room.

Doing really good today. They let David have grits for breakfast. Maybe solid food by supper! He was able to take his first shower in a week, and we get to start walking this afternoon!!

update

FANTASTIC NEWS!!!!!! We are home!!!! Dr. read all his test today and said he could be miserable at home just as easy as in the hospital and with my training I would know what to do and get him in quick if needed! Got to go to local Dr. and start theropy but we get to SLEEP in our own bed tonight. Doggies are on their way home and then everything will be perfect!!!

Bad and good news. Going through the same with my uncle, he just had a heart attack and they performed a quadruple bypass on his heart. I can't imagine how much it hurts to have your chest ripped apart for surgery.
