I don't think it will be a huge hit here, plus how are they gonna fix the fact that these things were designed for Indian safety regulations and pretty much explode if you slam the door too hard

I'm not sure how they are going to get it to pass US safety regulations without a total redesign. I also wonder how much work they are going to have to do to get the engine to pass emissions. My guess is it will take a lot longer and will cost a lot more to bring it to the US than they are estimating.
