It's stuff like this that has me paying more attention to the shoestring budget projects, in things like Kickstarter. The big studios have lost the thread and are throwing all their money into remakes of old movies. I've actually thrown some money behind a couple of projects. Yeah, the problem was that Toriyama was writing the manga at the same time the cartoon was being produced... he couldn't keep up, so they added a bunch of filler to bridge the gap.

Id just like to see updated drawings. Leave the voices but more visual detail. Its showing its age and was really bland.

They did. I think it was called DBZ Kai, it eliminated all the shit filler. The only problem, they changed the voice actors i believe. No bueno....

They cut out the junk and "remastered" the art but they really need to re-animate it using modern technology, Id love to see that. Imagine DBZ with Samurai Champloo quality art and animation. :dribble:
