His last words, "It was worth it."
Not really, but it would be a good story. They say that he hacked a whole bunch of celebrities stuff.

I like how scarjo said it was preverted but it wasn't him who took the nude pics and put them somewhere people can get to them in.

Like the Pam Anderson/Tommy Lee video that was locked in a safe, in their own home, and was stolen by contractors doing renovations?
You have to be able to have a certain expectation of privacy.

At the risk of sounding derivative, it did after all involve Pam Anderson.

Never put anything on the net you don't mind getting out. Your home is entirely different.
She let the pics get taken, she wanted someone to see it. Calling him preverted is dumb. Him being an asshat for stealing is understandable.

I believe that they were on her phone, not the net, and people tend to think of such things as being private. While it may be stupid to leave money sitting on the dash of your car overnight, it's still a crime for someone to take it.
I have no issue with the crime. That's completely understandable. I have an issue with her calling him perverted when she is walking around with nude pics of herself on her phone. It's really easy to steal a phone.

He isn't a pervert because he stole the information off her phone. That makes him a criminal. What makes him a pervert is that he did it to MANY celebrities and even women he knew personally. It's an accurate moniker, though not just because of his crime against her.
Ten years is about right.

Pretty sure you don't even get 10 years for actual rape.

And that's a problem with how the laws pertaining to rape are applied.

Well Tyson didn't actually rape anyone so that's a bad example...

Perhaps, but I'd say giving 10 years in a rape cage for some nudie pics is a problem as well.

Read that linked article. It was more than a few nudie pics. The guy went on a spree of abridging people's privacy.

Well given the rate at which things like identity theft are growing, you're at significant risk of giving a fuck in the future.
