I bought a cheap ($40) Emerson video camera. It's tiny and is in a waterproof housing. It's comes with a mount for a bicycle helmet or handlebar. I mounted it to the left handlebar and went up Lookout Mountain. Late in the day and got stuck behind some slow traffic. So I turned around and came down.

The mic is muffled by the clear waterproof housing, but going downhill there's not much throttle. I used the video editor in Windows Media to edit and add music. I also had to learn how to change CD music into MP3.

The sun was setting behind Lookout Mountain so the video is dark in many places compared to the bright sky. I could set it to HD, but instead set it to 640x480 because I didn't know how many minutes I could load onto the 8Gig memory card.

Thanks. I didn't know what embedding was, so I checked no, but now I allowed it. It is supposed to be in the 50's tomorrow before it snows on Saturday and Sunday. I am going back and will try the HD setting on the camera.

I see that U-tube has tons of bicycle and skateboard videos coming down Lookout Mountain. Not many motorcycle videos. I guess because there's no sound using brakes instead of throttle. I'll go further up the mountain tomorrow and ride the switchbacks.
