It's basically an American History lesson by a biker. It's on the BYU (Brigham Young University) Channel: http://www.byutv.org/show/06d93297-b6fa-49f5-8cce-6bd555b563af/american-ride?airdates=true. I saw it for the first time today. He did the battle at Gettysburg and defeating the British in the Appalachians. He really makes the battles and strategy interesting. Tomorrow morning, he does forming the Constitution, the Louisiana Purchase, the Lewis & Clark Expedition and the War of 1812.

I haven't seen that but, on Netflix they have Billy Connolly's Route 66. He travels the road on a laid-back trike and stops at odd little places along the way with a romantic view of the road and a different angle since he's not native. He's a hoot and some of the moments are quite moving. There's a lot of history covered along the way and some flat out hilarious moments! The best involves a shaman a sweat-lodge and a cell-phone. I can't give you more details than that without spoiling it.

Never heard of the show or the BYU TV channel. Is that a regional network out West?
