Bob you are on point about duck dynasty and any pawn show. Seems like talk about the gator/fishing shows have calmed down a lot recently though. I don't hear much about them anymore.

Sons of Anarchy annoys me

My wife and her annoying Mad Men BS... Apparently she loves the 50s, except for when it comes to actually acting like a woman of the 50s and making me a damn sandwich....LOL

Walking Dead jabber can get tiring sometimes, I think that is maybe cause I watch it a day late due to not having cable, so it annoys me to see spoilers on facebook.

And the ones who try to look cool by critiquing the shit out of everything... Our conversations here are good, but in other places I don't even engage. Getting all intricate with song selection, camera angles, and acting like it's the most poorly written/acted/directed show, WHILE continuing to watch it every single week is just fucking retarded.

I get that way when they ruin something, when they make a change for the better it doesn't bother me.

I only get that way when it's a movie and they've completely screwed it up, like Hollywood's version of "Dune" or "Starship Troopers." It doesn't bother me in a TV show because you have to make changes for TV, even for cable. Sometimes it's to drag the story out, into something long enough and serialized enough that it works as a show. Sometimes it's just so Middle America doesn't lose its shit.

I love Starship Troopers, definitely a guilty pleasure of mine since it is such a bad movie. LOL

I really like the Sci Fi version of Dune, so I just go with that one, didn't care for the second movie though.

I watched SOA for a couple of seasons. Something that always struck me was that every single biker is a TERRIBLE shot.

Agreed, yet they keep makin gmore shows like that or plastering us with what the kardashians are up to.

I watched some of an episode of one of those bachelor shows and couldnt believe people actualy watch that shit, I felt my self getting dumber as it went on.

I never saw that duck dynasty show and have no idea what its about so I couldnt comment, but like trip said it seems those swamp people type shows have run thier short course. Now its anything to do with alaska it seems.

To offset all of the garbage shows listed in this thread - I recently started watching Battlestar Galactica. It's the perfect nerd recipe for a show and is fucking awesome!

Loved BSG. But I'm glad they stopped it when they did. Actually, they should have probably cut it shorter by about half a season, they were running out of stories pretty quick by the end.

Im a big fan of the English version of Kitchen Nightmares, the American version is ok but just has to much fake drama and sound effects. Dont really care for Hells Kitchen.

I'm the other way - I can watch Hell's Kitchen just to see him yell at them and put the pressure on to see how they handle it. Can't stand the drama though - at least 1/2 the episode I FF over.

Kitchen Nightmares just annoys me. People who can't run shit and are sinking ask for his help, then fight him on every one of his suggestions, then at the end all is happy and they embrace his changes. Blah.

They actually did two bits. One was literally everyone in the cast coming on frame just long enough to say, "I'm a Cylon."

The second one was when the end of season came up and Green, and Senreich went around looking for a new job. When they got to the guy who did Galactica (David Eick?) and said that they would make good Cylons he said that choosing who would be a Cylon was easy, then started tossing darts at pictures of the stars.
