If the suspension stands, then he'll win. I have no idea if the $1M would be considered a reasonable penalty but, given how juries tend to act in such cases, odds are that he'd get what he's asking.
.... though I've always considered his, "I wasn't with them." comment to be bullshit.

Sportbike riders get a bad name for running from cops, then one of the good ones stops and gets this for it? And they wonder why so many run for it....

I hope he does... I would say the suspension is the key piece, they know they did wrong.

Thing is that suspensions like that are frequently political expedients, rather than supportable actions.

The officer was constitutionaly wrong... that pretty ends it for him.
